Here are a few of the sights on our first day of driving. We hadn't counted on it costing us something like $15 in toles to get a car and trailer out of the Chicago suburbs, but luckily I had some cash in my purse. Aparently we also made it through "Cheesehead" county among others. The boys did pretty well on our first day of driving...I wish I could say the same for myself. After a few hours of driving West into the sun, I got the worst headache of my life and was rendered useless. Hannah had to take over driving and luckily the boys slept long enough for me to get in a little nap.
The Damn Mississippi!
